P.L.U.S Program (Older Adults)

Sedentary people over the age of 25 - 30 tend to lose lean muscle and gain body fat, especially in the abdominal area. This increase in fat could lead to hypertension, heart disease, diabetes and even colon problems.

Our P.L.U.S. program is aimed at reversing these problems in older adults. Sessions are supervised by instructors who understand the ageing process and how it can be reversed. Fitness programs are planned for each individual depending on their physical condition and goals. Participants have achieved great results in their aerobic fitness, strength, coordination and balance. For many participants it is the social aspects of group exercise that keeps them coming back, achieving fitness goals is a bonus.

Problems like diabetes, arthritis, and hypertension can be helped with fitness training, however a medical referral is recommended.

P.L.U.S. access times

Health Club: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 11.00am - 1:00pm

Circuit Class: Monday 10.30am & Wednesday 10.30am

Concession membership

Full access to all P.L.U.S. sessions, as well as, all Group Fitness classes, unlimited Health Club use and regular program review with Fitness Instructors.
