At 6pm on Monday 23rd Jan, a collection of adventurous minded community members teamed up with the staff at Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre to play a friendly trick on the members.

While they were busy pumping iron in the gym's fitness area, a group of 28 secret squirrels were getting suited up in a room below. At 6pm on the dot, Olivia Newton John's song 'Physical' took over the sound system and one by one male and female Santas filed into the gym, took their place at a machine and got to work.

The gym members were bamboozled. There's no better word for it. Walking through the room looking around them at the Santas doing situps, pulling weights, doing bench presses. They were a combination of surprised, confused and very entertained.

The Santas had very straight faces until they filed out of the room, and then they exploded with funny stories about the reactions. And they were very grateful to be out of the suits again as it was a scorching 34 degree day outside.Its was heaps of fun watching the reactions of members while they were bombarded with Santas getting fit for summer!
